“I hired SoloStream to re-brand my blog because of the enormous amount of positive feedback that they’ve earned in the community. If you’ve ever tried to put a new coat of paint on a web site then you already know this can be daunting task, especially if you’re looking for a professional image.

“Truth be known, I provided Solostream with my logo and 4 or 5 blogs that I thought had nice ergonomics, that’s it. We liked the first revision that Michael provided right from the start, in fact we only had 1 change order. We feel that the new look brings a certain amount of unique professionalism and I would encourage you to use Solostream for your custom WordPress Themes.”

“Michael, I can’t thank you enough for the redesign of my site, The Boy Genius Report. You went above and beyond what was necessary to make sure that all little issues (which were very few) were resolved ASAP, even working on the site with me when normal people would be dead asleep – you ensured a smooth transition from the old site, to the new one. The feedback from my readers has been tremendous and again I thank you.”

He stayed on budget and exceeded our expectations at every turn.

It was a terrific experience …

“I truly enjoyed working with Michael. I had seen his work before and read other testimonials so I thought it was worth a shot for some redesign work that I needed for my blog. My budget was pretty limited so I submitted a list to Mike along with several other things “if he had time”. Not only did he complete all that he had quoted but he also completed my additional list as well. He even helped out with some tweaks once the new redesign was up and running. It was a terrific experience and I’ll definitely go back as my needs expand. Thanks Mike!”

“Michael: Thanks for your help and flexibility with the us and our gaggle of freelancers. You delivered promptly, professionally, and in several instances went beyond the scope of the assignment. I know we will need your services to launch more blogs…in fact I have a meeting next week on a blog we’ve proposed launching and managing for a client. Michael provided a fantastic solution … I wholeheartedly recommend Solostream Webstudio.

“As I mentioned previously the new Small Business Branding website design was completed by Michael Pollock, who is in charge of the Solostream Webstudio blog design business.

“Michael did the complete layout and all the graphics using the existing WordPress back-end. I also asked him for some custom features - I wanted each writer to be able to control what advertisements are placed on their article pages and author archives. By doing this each author can decide how to make use of their content published to Small Business Branding. If they want to monetize their work they can place advertisements in the allotted space or if they want to promote their other websites and blogs they may place text links or banners or whatever they want.

“Michael provided a fantastic solution. In the back-end user control panel each writer has access to a section where they can input some code which will go live only on their articles and archives. They can change the details at any time and test any format of advertising based on their needs. Each author has control over a right sidebar area (300*250) and a banner sized (468*60) space at the end of every article they write. I think this is a really innovative way to reward authors in a group blogging format and make use of the fantastic WordPress technology to do it.

“Michael’s solution was exactly what I was after. It provides a mechanism to reward Small Business Branding authors based on their individual work and empowers them with control of how they leverage their exposure on Small Business Branding. Authors who write more often and more popular articles will enjoy more page impresses and therefor more displays of their advertising areas.

“Best of all, with multiple authors providing regular features means there is more content going to our readers, increasing the overall readership of the blog. When the overall readership increases then of course each author also benefits. It really is a case of the whole being greater than the sum of it’s parts, and it wouldn’t be possible without the help of Michael Pollock.

“If you are in need of blog design I wholeheartedly recommend Solostream Webstudio.”

[Michael] made it all easy. Whatever I wanted, he did. And then he did more.

Men are easy but getting a simple blog up to speed was not until I found Michael. I attended a blogging workshop for writers and publishers and I read up on blogging on blog sites, so I knew what I wanted. I tried 3 different people who claimed that they knew what they were doing, but they didn’t. I was getting ready to spend the week that it would take to do a basic site myself. But then I found Michael. He made it all easy. Whatever I wanted, he did. And then he did more. No fuss. No problems. All done seamlessly in a few days. Thank you, Michael!

Working with Michael and Solostream Web Studio has been an absolute dream.

Working with Michael and Solostream Web Studio has been an absolute dream. David and I had a very specific goal in mind and Michael exceeded our expectations by making our site even better than we had envisioned. With 50 contributors and daily content updates, we needed the site to be easy to navigate, to incorporate video and images seamlessly, and to categorize new content well. He works fast, he’s amazingly responsive, he is extremely talented and he’s got a great personality to boot. If I weren’t married, I’d probably date him.

Michael … quickly produced a business weblog site with many of my ideas incorporated.

“Sandy is excited about the new blog and how user friendly it is, both for reading and for posting. She has already made her first post and she intends to blog her garden.

“For those interested in the technical details, this site runs on WordPress. I’ve been watching WordPress development for over two years and I’ve always been impressed but I haven’t been able to make the leap to anything near as customized as I wanted. And that’s where a WordPress Business Consultant comes in. Michael Pollock of SoloStream.com took my static page website and quickly produced a business weblog site with many of my ideas incorporated. Some of my ideas went by the wayside as we went along but I like to think that’s because of his quiet good advice coupled with my good sense.

“The project took the best part of a week from start to finish. Michael did some initial work and gave me time to digest it. Then we had a very productive conference call that ran about an hour. After that the work went full steam ahead until completion. Minor design changes and problems were tidied up and we were done. Several problems that cropped up later were fixed right away. If only Candy making would go so smoothly. I used just a few of Michael’s services on this project but I tried to take full advantage of his understanding of how WordPress can work as a small business web publishing platform.”

Michael Pollock is like a 25 year old gorgeous French philosophy exchange student …

“One might say that hiring a partner for your website is like hiring an au pair to look after your child. Using this analogy, Michael Pollock is like a 25 year old gorgeous French philosophy exchange student that’s fluent in English, trained in CPR, and was an 8-time winner on Iron Chef. You can basically give your kid to him and be certain he’ll take good care of it.”

“Michael helped transition a website I had from Blogger to WordPress. The task, at the surface, was not the most complex, but it was the kind that a lesser developer might have made into a nightmare. I offered Michael some of my original thoughts on the layout transition, and he augmented them with his expertise. He agreed to an extremely short timeline (3 days) and was basically finished within 1. I was most impressed by the fact that Michael made sure to manually take care of all the small details that someone else would probably look over (he made sure to import the exact name I post under, he photoshopped up a couple images to match my template, etc.)–he took care of the small things that were slightly out of scope, and I imagined I might have to do myself. Michael was remarkably responsive and made sure to respond to all my comments individually.

“Michael is intelligent, informed, and extremely easy to work with. He can raise my kids; he can perform open-heart surgery on me; and he can sure as heck do anything WordPress related.”

I don’t think I’d be where I am today without [Michael’s] contribution to my life and business.

“I met Michael Pollock almost four years ago when I was in training at Life On Purpose Institute to be a coach. He was the assistant instructor for the class. I was new to the world of coaching and Michael was an excellent instructor and influence. He brought proficiency, and clarity to the classroom, kept the material focused and relevant and was always extremely supportive and encouraging.

“I then hired Michael as my own coach; we worked together during the critical months of my early business building. He was always professional and provocative and provided the necessary support, skill and business development savvy I needed. As well as being an outstanding coach, Michael served as an important and critical role model as I was developing myself as a coach.

“As time moved on, Michael and my affiliation evolved into a mutually supportive relationship between colleagues. Our mutual passion for learning and self-development encouraged and inspired us to new levels of professional and personal success. In the many creative projects we’ve engaged in together, Michael has demonstrated and contributed valuable, business, marketing and interpersonal expertise. Frankly, his passion for marketing is palpable which made it easy for me to wrap my self around what I thought would be an impossible task (as a non marketer) in building my business.

“Michael has been repeatedly instrumental and generous in assisting me to develop my business beyond where I could have taken it alone. In addition to his coaching and mentoring abilities, he is a talented designer and writer and has assisted me in many, many ways. In all honesty, I don’t think I’d be where I am today without his contribution to my life and business.”
